This project at Katoen Natie consisted of upgrading & renovating the Modern Data Platform on Azure to best-practice in 2024. Following a migration in 2018 & 2020 to a Modern Data Platform on Azure, the internal Katoen Natie didn’t yet align with all latest best-practice incl. the Lakehouse approach, use of Unity Catalog, a true CICD set-up for BI and a clean data model where all data comes together. element61 worked with a set of data engineers on making sure the improvements were identified, analyses & implemented step-by-step throughout all use-cases in place at Katoen Natie
