Analytics Architect
Sebbe graduated with a Master of Science in Engineering Technology, majoring in Electronics and ICT, from Ghent University in 2025, including an exchange at the Universidade de Vigo. Through his thesis on predicting radio propagation loss in forest environments using symbolic regression, he discovered his passion for data and its potential to solve complex, real-world problems.
To deepen this interest, he followed the Advanced Master of Science in Data Science for Business at Ghent University. He finished his degree with an internship, where he developed a machine-learning routing model for loan requests to predict upsell opportunities, combining technical skills with business needs.
Alongside his technical abilities, Sebbe has developed strong soft skills through sports and teamwork, from captaining his football team to victory in the Salesiaanse Spelen to pacing for a run club in Ghent. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, staying active, and video editing.
With his combination of technical expertise and analytical mindset, Sebbe is eager to turn data into valuable insights that support business decision-making, while continuing to develop himself.
Sebbe will join element61 in September 2026.
