Analytics Architect
Floris obtained a Master of Science in Business Engineering with a specialisation in Data Analytics at Ghent University.
Throughout his studies, Floris discovered a strong passion for leveraging the power of data to tackle real-world business challenges. He became particularly interested in how data analytics, machine learning, and data visualisation can support better decision-making. A student job in data analytics allowed him to deepen his practical skills in SQL and explore the impact of data-driven solutions in a professional context.
In his Master’s thesis, Floris collaborated with a non-profit car-sharing platform to gain a better understanding of car occupancy rates, transitioning from decisions based on gut feeling to data-driven insights.
Outside of work, Floris is passionate about football. A few years ago, he created a recreational football team with his friends, where he still plays every Saturday. He is also a dedicated supporter of Club Brugge. He loves travelling and spending time with family and friends.
