This specific project dealt with replacing De Lijn's existing Planning & Budgeting process in MS Excel by a fully automated and workflow-based solution. Following a thorough software selection process, element61 helped De Lijn select Cognos Planning as the key component to the solution. In a matter of a few months, the entire budgeting (begroting) cycle of De Lijn was implemented in this solution, enabling them to better follow up the budget process.
