Analytics Architect
Wout obtained his Bachelor in Electronics and ICT from Thomas More in June 2026, specializing in Cloud Automation & Defense. Throughout his studies, he built a clear focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, and security, backed by industry certifications in cloud and infrastructure technologies.
During his internship, Wout designed and built multi-cloud architectures across several cloud providers. He handled the complete setup, including network design, firewall configuration, hub-and-spoke networking, site-to-site VPNs and routing. He also researched European alternatives to the major American hyperscalers, reflecting the growing demand for European cloud options in the current geopolitical context.
Wout also developed a firewall policy analyzer that reviews rule bases, identifies security risks and highlights opportunities for optimization. The solution uses AI to provide a second opinion on the findings. He is passionate about cloud, DevOps and automation, and enjoys working with Infrastructure as Code, creating reliable deployment processes and building solutions that reduce repetitive work, improve consistency and minimize errors.
Outside of work, Wout can often be found in the gym and going for walks.
