Delphine Mertens

Delphine holds a Master in Business Management with a major in International Finance from the Louvain School of Management. With a growing interest in data analytics and machine learning, she chose to complement her financial background by completing the Data Science & AI bootcamp at Le Wagon. There, she gained hands-on experience in Python, SQL, data analysis, and machine learning. Her final project involved designing a clustering model to segment customer groups for a kombucha company.

Professionally, Delphine gained experience at BNP Paribas Asset Management and Deloitte. At BNP Paribas, she worked on market analysis and contributed to papers on net-zero investments, while at Deloitte, she assisted in M&A advisory by analysing comparable companies and preparing acquisition profiles. These experiences deepened her analytical mindset and sparked a strong interest in data-driven decision-making.

In parallel, Delphine took on leadership roles as a scout leader, where she organised activities and camps for children and led successful fundraising initiatives. In her free time, Delphine enjoys sailing, playing tennis, painting and knitting.
