For Recticel, a leading manufacturer of polyurethane foam products, this project was all about leveraging a modern data platform to enable ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting. The project aimed to integrate ESG-related data from SAP and other data sources, such as energy consumption & waste management into a centralized and scalable data platform on Azure. Using Power Apps and Power BI, element61 designed and developed user-friendly input applications that enabled to truly centralize the ESG data, prepare it for us & then offer it for analysis & ESG reporting in a consistent and reliable way. The project supported Recticel's compliance with the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), a new EU regulation that requires companies to disclose non-financial information on their ESG performance and impacts.
