Stan Decoene

Stan graduates with a Master of Science in Business Administration, Management & IT. During his bachelor's degree, the subject of Business Intelligence increased his interest in learning more about how data is processed and how using data can create a strategic advantage. In his Master, he learned programming in Python and SQL. 

For his master's thesis: 'Develop a digital marketplace or sharing economy platform using an ontology', he developed a platform with a fellow student and learned what the construction of a database itself looks like. 

During his time at element61, Stan became certified as a Qlik Sense Business Analyst. To gain specific knowledge about Qlik Cloud, Stan also obtained the Qlik Sense SaaS Business Analyst Endorsement. He has experience in upgrading and migrating Qlik products and has also provided support and built Qlik apps in various industries such as manufacturing, media, and construction. Stan has also helped set up Qlik Cloud Data Integration.  

In addition to this, Stan has already explored the Insight Advisor's capabilities and has written the Insight: From Words to Wisdom: Qlik Sense's Chatbot Revolutionizes Data Exploration. Stan has also described the implementation of a GitFlow in Qlik and its elaboration using automation in the following Insight: Effective Version Control in Qlik: Leveraging the Power of GitHub. 

In his spare time, He enjoys sports the most, such as playing football and he enjoys spending time with friends.
