WeQan, a specialized provider of Qlik and Power BI services, solutions and software, was founded in December 2015 by Jean-Marc Toussaint. From its inception, WeQan has been dedicated to Qlik and has during the last 8 years delivered QlikView and Qlik Sense expertise to over 150 customers. Since 2022, WeQan expanded its services to include Power BI.
Jean-Marc Toussaint brings over 35 years of experience in various finance and IT roles, including serving as CFO in large international companies. His journey led him to the position of CIO at the Lhoist Group before venturing into entrepreneurship in 2008.
In the period from 2009 to 2015, Jean-Marc co-founded and co-led Velixis, a Business Intelligence consulting firm initially specialized in Business Objects. Jean-Marc introduced the Qlik practice in the early 2010s. In 2012, Velixis was sold to the Micropole Group, subsequently becoming Micropole Belgium in 2015.
